Our boxes feature “half-blind dovetails” which are only seen from the side because the pins are not cut completely through the front and back of the drawer.The tails are housed in sockets in the ends of the front and backboard that is to be the front of the item so that their ends cannot be seen. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined

The strength of the dovetail joint is based on the way the 'tails' and 'pins' are shaped and interlock. Their geometry offers a large surface for glue - with a tight fit it is difficult to pull the joint apart. Dovetails are ideal for making drawers that will be used frequently – particularly for kitchen and vanity cabinets.

When you want to have the smoothest joint possible on the drawer sides where the dovetails show, you can order the drawers “post finished”. With this option, after the drawer is assembled, we fill any gaps, polish sand, and then coat the box with conversion varnish for the ultimate quality.

For those using concealed undermount slides, we offer factory installed fasteners – also known as “clips” or “locking devices”. Options are Blum, Hettich, and Richelieu 825/828 slide series. All these clips offer height and lateral adjustment. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined
